Working and studying alongside environmentalists, architects and town planners left little doubt, however, that few opportunities existed for meaningful synthesis of my art interests and the practicalities of mainstream environmental design.
I entered academia in search of more freedom to explore and built a role developing and delivering representation and communication components of the architecture curriculum.
This work required new knowledge and skills in architectural design methodologies and synthesising manual with digital techniques for imaging and modelling.
I came to realise the extensive opportunities for crossover of such thinking and methods to the practice of fine art.
